Chris & Deb
We left Sydney around 2:30 and drove to Kurrajong to stay with Chris & Deb Hallam. We toured their amazing property and home. We were greeted by a variety of birds and a rare ring-tailed possum who frequent their abode.
Their home is a living museum and has been lovingly restored since they took possession in 1975. It started out as a homestead in 1809, The Goldfinders Home Inn was added to the property in 1851 which was latter transformed into a General Store. At one point in the 1890s it was owned by Deb’s great grand father. So now it’s back in the family.
We ended the evening with a lovely dinner prepared by Deb.
