Cruise Day 11: Napier NZ

Napier, a coastal city on New Zealand’s North Island, is set amid the renowned wine-producing region of Hawke’s Bay. In 1931 an earthquake leveled the city and rose its inner bay and marshlands 2 meters above sea level. It was quickly rebuilt using the architectural style of the day, Art Deco.

We walked about the town, enjoying the it’s many art deco landmarks.
