It’s a lazy day today. Catching up on reading and the like.

We have received a number of emails from friends expressing their concern for our safety. So we thought we’d let you know that we are fine. We have only experienced one day where the smoke was bad. It has even rained a few times.

We also have an App, Fires Near Me, which let us know where fires are and their status. It will even alert us if we are in any danger. As you can see in the map to the right, there are no fires near Sydney, and the closest ones are under control. It’s a different story in the Alpine areas  to the south west but we wont go there unless things change for the better.

So not to worry, we are staying safe and won’t take any undue chances.
